Dedicated Software Engineer

Building software for everyone.

I’m a software engineer focused on iOS with over 10 years of experience building polished, maintainable applications with a strong focus on user experience, accessibility, testability, and scalable architecture.

About

Engineering with product thinking.

I’m a senior software engineer specializing in iOS, with more than a decade of experience building production applications and reusable UI systems. My work sits at the intersection of engineering and product: turning early ideas and design concepts into polished, accessible experiences while building the architecture and testing infrastructure needed to support them over time.

I’ve worked across Apple, CLEAR, Google, Audible, and early-stage client products, partnering closely with design, product, and engineering teams. I care deeply about accessibility, maintainable architecture, performance, testability, and platform-native interaction design—and I’m happiest when I can help improve both the user experience and the way a team builds software.

  • SwiftUI / UIKit
  • XCTest
  • VoiceOver and iOS accessibility APIs
  • Dependency injection
  • Modular iOS architecture
  • ISO 18013-5 digital identity

Product & UX

  • Built product prototypes for ePassport and CLEAR ID, including work related to ISO 18013-5 digital identity.
  • Prototyped primary UI for Home and Vault redesigns, including the CLEAR ID flip interaction and overall Home screen layout.
  • Built interactive prototypes for UX review and iteration before production implementation.
  • Partnered closely with product and design to refine interactions, accessibility, scope, and platform behavior.
  • Identified accessibility issues in a custom selection experience and worked with design on a more VoiceOver-friendly, platform-native solution.

Engineering

  • Led iOS engineering efforts to reduce build times and increase automated test coverage.
  • Helped rearchitect parts of the application around modular feature boundaries and dependency injection.
  • Promoted rapid development through upfront planning, well-tested code, and small independently reviewable changes.
  • Mentored an engineer building internal prototyping tooling that let UX explore roughly a dozen Booked Flight card and sheet combinations.

03

Jammy

Architected and built the iOS application for Jammy , an AI-powered coaching product developed through Studio Init.

#jammy

Technologies

  • Swift
  • SwiftUI / UIKit
  • AI service integration
  • Dependency injection
  • Modular architecture
  • Automated testing

Requirements

  • Translate rapidly evolving product concepts into a polished, production-ready iOS experience.
  • Support multiple screen sizes and Dynamic Type configurations.
  • Keep application architecture flexible as AI-driven workflows evolved.
  • Maintain strong separation between UI, business logic, and service integrations.

Highlights

  • Architected and developed the iOS application from product planning through delivery.
  • Worked directly with design to turn Figma specifications into production UI.
  • Identified and resolved inconsistencies in typography, spacing, color, visual hierarchy, and layout behavior during implementation.
  • Designed reusable components and feature boundaries to support fast iteration without tightly coupling the codebase.
  • Treated implementation as part of the design process, refining edge cases that were not visible in static mockups.

04

P!ng

Contributed to the technical design and core algorithms behind the P!ng ultra-fast coffee ordering service , where application behavior and real-world timing were central to the user experience.

#ping

Technologies

  • Swift
  • iOS
  • Location-aware application behavior
  • State management
  • Algorithms
  • API integration

Product Challenge

  • Make ordering and receiving coffee feel nearly instantaneous.
  • Coordinate user location, order state, store workflow, and timing.
  • Submit orders at the right point in the user's journey without unnecessary interaction.
  • Communicate status clearly without adding friction to the experience.
  • Account for imperfect network, location, and timing conditions.

Highlights

  • Contributed to the application's architecture and technical design.
  • Helped translate product requirements into deterministic application state and ordering behavior.
  • Worked through algorithms involving location, timing, and order lifecycle.
  • Focused on keeping complex system behavior behind an intentionally simple user-facing experience.

05

Yout?

Architected and shipped the Yout? iOS application at Studio Init, owning technical architecture and user-facing implementation from product planning through production delivery.

#yout

Technologies

  • Swift
  • UIKit / SwiftUI
  • REST APIs
  • Dependency injection
  • Automated testing
  • Modular application architecture

Requirements

  • Build a production social application from product and design specifications.
  • Support multiple iPhone sizes and Dynamic Type configurations.
  • Handle long content, empty states, loading states, and real-world data outside idealized design examples.
  • Keep feature logic decoupled from backend and infrastructure concerns.

Highlights

  • Designed the application's architecture and shipped the production iOS product.
  • Translated Figma designs into reusable, responsive UI components.
  • Partnered closely with design to resolve typography, spacing, color, and visual-weight discrepancies discovered during implementation.
  • Built clear feature boundaries, reusable services, dependency injection, and testable business logic.
  • Designed navigation and state management to remain maintainable as requirements changed.
